It’s been so long since I’ve written a blog post, but something in my heart keeps telling me it’s time. Quite a bit has changed since my last post. That “new” job that I started has turned out to be a major stress factor in my life and keeps be insanely busy. I’d being lying if I said I didn’t truly enjoy the work that I do, but it is a lot and it does stress me out OFTEN. I now have a 13 year old and a 3 year old. Despite my wishes for them to stay cute, cuddly and innocent forever, nature has taken over and they both are growing like weeds. The boy is into video games, clothes, shoes and corny YouTube videos. The girl is into Little Mermaid, Elsa from Frozen, imaginative play and “girls only” stuff. They both are well behaved for the most part with the occasional moments of acting a fool in order to test us. When will they learn that we always win (I guess never because I know it took me forever to grasp that concept with my parents). Hubby also started a new job in which he is doing extremely well. The boy is in middle school. The girl is counting, recognizing colors and shapes, and saying her alphabet. We started transforming the master bedroom to my “mom cave” but some how that project came to a screeching holt. We still have our dog but now we also have a fish too that was named “Princess Jasmine”.

This year has been hard on the crew. I’ll call it growing pains. Hubby and I have struggled to see to eye to eye because we are both so overwhelmed with “life”. The good thing is that when the hard times hit, we were right by each other’s sides to pick up the pieces and be each others peace through the storm. We may drive each other crazy but the one thing that NEVER changes is our love and support for one another.

My social life is pretty much obsolete at this point. I do so many events professionally that when I do get free time I prefer to spend it with the family and “try” to keep everything in order. The good thing is I’ve got a great group of friends that when we do finally get to hook up, its like picking up right where we left off. I’ve also made some new friends that I’m so blessed to have in my life. Then there’s my crew (mommy, sister and cousin) and we get together about once a season it makes for some truly memorable and amazing times. So my social life isn’t what it used to be but hey it works for me. It’s probably better that way because there is no way I could keep up with the younger me’s social calendar.

Other than that I’m so happy to be blogging again. I’m going to do every other week this time around in order to keep it manageable. I’m also in the process of looking for someone to create my logo and planning my 1st MMOTM event!!! I’m so grateful you took the time out to read what I had to share and hopefully you’ll check back in two weeks for my next post. I’m so excited to be back 😆😆😆
